Mastering Autodesk Inventor 2012 and Autodesk Inventor LT 2012 – Book Review

With the newest release of Inventor comes the newest release of this book, Mastering Autodesk Inventor 2012 and Autodesk Inventor LT 2012. Curtis Waguespack and Sybex have been releasing a version of this book since Inventor 2009 but here is the updated version that supports InventorMastering 2012.

The book starts out definitely for the beginning user talking about how to setup Inventor and then moves on to basic modeling techniques. Then it advances on, getting into more detailed things like sheet metal, advanced part modeling, assembly modeling and drawing documentation.

It also includes things for the more advanced user like Frame Generator, FEA Stress Analysis, Routed Systems, Plastic Part Design, and iLogic coding.

I recommend purchasing Mastering Autodesk Inventor 2012 and Autodesk Inventor LT 2012 for any beginning, intermediate, or advanced user. It is also a good book to be used in the classroom used be an Inventor instructor. If you are looking to take the Inventor Certification exams, along the sides of the pages it labels what parts are Certification Objectives also. It is also the Official Training Guide for Autodesk Inventor. If you are using this book for Inventor LT, a lot of it won’t pertain to you unfortunately.

You can purchase the books below from the Amazon Store in either Paperback form or as a Kindle E-Book. Also, if you purchase this book you can download the tutorial files that go along with each chapter of the book.
