Vote Now for Inventor of the Year

 Every month Autodesk gives out an Inventor of the Month award, now is the time to choose from those winners and decide who the Inventor of the Year award goes to, and you get to help make that decision.

December 2010: Pi Mobility
Autodesk, Inc. has named Pi Mobility as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for December for using Autodesk software to more efficiently design the Pi Cycle, a new generation of sturdy, long-lasting electric bicycles.
November 2010: Ritter Sport
Autodesk, Inc. has named Germany’s Ritter Sport - producer of the square chocolate bar of the same name - as Autodesk Inventor of the Month for November. The renowned company uses Autodesk software to more quickly change its candy bar designs.
October 2010: Stanford Student Team
Autodesk, Inc. has named a class of Stanford University graduate students as Autodesk Inventor of the Month for October for developing a prototype of the recyclable Bloom laptop.
September 2010: Joy Mining Machinery
Autodesk, Inc.  has named Joy Mining Machinery, a leading global supplier of underground mining systems, as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for September. The company used Autodesk Inventor Digital Prototyping software to develop its JOY 14ED25 continuous miner-bolter machine.
August 2010: Mark Richey Woodworking
Autodesk, Inc. has named Mark Richey Woodworking, a high-end architectural woodworking firm, as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for August for expert use of Autodesk Inventor software in developing and installing the precision millwork required for a new performing arts center.
July 2010: Brookhaven National Laboratory
Autodesk has named Brookhaven National Laboratory (Brookhaven Lab) — a national research laboratory overseen by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy — as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for July in recognition of its innovative nanotechnology equipment.
June 2010: West Hills Construction
Autodesk, Inc. has named West Hills Construction, Inc., as the June Autodesk Inventor of the Month for its successful use of Autodesk Inventor to deliver energy efficiency, management, storage and distributed generation solutions.
May 2010: Preciosa
Autodesk, Inc. named Preciosa, a producer of cut crystal chandeliers and lighting fixtures, as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for May.
April 2010: Vindby
Autodesk, Inc.has named Vindby, a Danish supplier of renewable energy solutions, as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for April. Vindby used Autodesk Inventor software to develop the Vindby 1A, the first wind turbine approved for home use in Denmark.
March 2010: RND Automation and Engineering 
RND Automation & Engineering is a manufacturer of custom factory automation, robotic work cell, packaging and material handling equipment.
February 2010: StructureCraft Builders Inc.
Autodesk, Inc., has named StructureCraft Builders Inc., a British Columbia–based custom design-builder, the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for February 2010. The company used Autodesk Inventor software to design and develop the innovative WoodWave© roof for the Richmond Olympic Oval long-track speed skating venue.
January 2010: ideas
Autodesk has named ideas*, an Australian engineering services firm, the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for January 2010. The company used Autodesk Inventor software to design and develop the world’s most advanced construction recycling facility. The massive facility in Victoria, Australia will be capable of recycling one million tons of demolition materials per year.
